You will arrive at New Delhi’s International Airport in the morning. Following customs, immigration, and baggage collection, an TRIPAZZI representative will greet you as you exit the ARRIVAL TERMINAL building and transport you to your hotel.

Delhi, India’s capital and a main entry point into the country, is a bustling metropolis that successfully blends the ancient with the modern. In the middle of the city’s fast-spiraling skyscrapers, the region’s many monuments serve as silent reminders of the region’s historical history. The initial impressions of any visitor arriving from the airport are of a spacious, garden city with numerous gorgeous parks.

DAY 02                  DELHI

Following breakfast, you will embark on a full-day city tour of both Old and New Delhi.

You will begin your journey in Old Delhi. The tour will begin with a stop at Raj Ghat, a basic Mahatma Gandhi memorial. The Red Fort (closed on Mondays) will be our next trip. It is one of the most outstanding examples of Mughal architecture. The Red Fort was built between 1638 and 1648 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and features walls that stretch up to 2 kilometers in length and range in height from 18 meters. Continue your tour of Asia’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid. Shahjahan erected it with the help of 5,000 craftsmen in 1656 AD, and it was the Mughal Emperor’s final architectural extravagance. It was constructed directly across the street from the Red Fort. Masjid-I-Jahanuma, which means’ mosque commanding vision of the world,’ is another name for the mosque. The mosque has a capacity of up to 25,000 worshippers.

Following your visit to Old Delhi, you will be taken to New Delhi, which exhibits the British legacy.

The India Gate, a beautiful high arch 42 meters high created as a homage to the 90,00 soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I, would be the first stop on the Imperial Delhi trip. The foundation stone was set by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Connaught, in 1921, and it is also known as the All-India War Memorial. To honor the memories of the unknown troops, an eternal light (Amar Jawan Jyoti) burns beneath it. You’ll pass the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence, the Parliament building, and other government buildings on your way there. Visit the Mughal Emperor Humayun’s magnificent mausoleum and the modern Birla Temple. The Qutub Minar, India’s tallest stone tower, will be your final stop. It was founded in 1199 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak. He demolished 27 Hindu and Jain temples and used their columns to construct the adjacent Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, which he also built.

Return to your hotel room.

DAY 03                   DELHI – AGRA

You will be driven from Delhi to Agra (204 kilometers/ 5.30 hours) after an early breakfast in the hotel.

In terms of atmosphere, Agra is still connected with the Mughal era. The Mughals were not only great rulers, but also brilliant builders, and they left Agra and its environs with their finest architectural marvels. It boasts numerous beautiful monuments, the most famous of which is the Taj Mahal, which is a marvel of Mughal architecture at its finest. Each is distinctive and spectacular, including the vast but exquisite Agra Fort, the delicate artistry of Itimad-ud-tomb, daulah’s the grand Taj, and Akbar’s desolate city, Fatehpur Sikri.

Upon arrival, travel to the hotel to check in.

The Agra Fort, a remarkable specimen of Mughal architecture, will be seen in the afternoon. Under numerous centuries, Agra Fort served as the seat and bulwark of the Mughal Empire. The current construction traces its origins to Akbar, who established the walls and gates, as well as the first structures, on the eastern banks of the Yamuna River. The spectacular quarters and mosque were erected by Shah Jehan, while the outside ramparts were added by Aurangzeb. Visit the Royal Pavilions and the Hall of Public Audience.

After that, you’ll go to the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). Midway during your journey, Tonga’s “horse carriages” will be waiting for you and will drop you off at the Taj Mahal’s gates. Everything that has been written about the Taj Mahal is true and more. The white marble was quarried 200 miles distant and delivered to the site by a fleet of 1000 elephants, taking 22 years and 20,000 men to complete.

The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the mid-17th century as a symbol of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is undoubtedly one of the world’s wonders. Though the Taj appears to be flawless from nearly every perspective, it is the close-up marble inlay work that is truly remarkable. You’ll have plenty of time to admire and be amazed by this magnificent structure.

Staying the night at the hotel

DAY 04                   AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI – JAIPUR

You will be driven from Agra to Jaipur (240 km / 6 hours) after breakfast, with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri along the way.

Fatehpur Sikri is a deserted red sandstone city that served as the capital and palace of the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. It served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for only around ten years before being abandoned when the local wells became dry. It is in remarkably same condition today as it was almost 300 years ago. When it was first built, it was a town the size of London, complete with palaces and mosques. You will tour the Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam, and Buland Darwaja upon your arrival.

Continue driving to Jaipur.

The past of Jaipur is never far away. Jaipur, the city of victory, reigns supreme over the interesting desert state and its inhabitants, surrounded by craggy hills crowned by imposing forts and sprinkled with exquisite palaces, homes, and gardens. The palaces and forts of the past, which witnessed royal processions and majesty, are now living monuments, seamlessly integrated into the “pink city’s” way of life. Little appears to have changed, save for the heavy traffic of bicycles, vehicles, and buses. The bazaars and people of Jaipur have a timeless quality. Jaipur’s historical history brings ancient Rajput legends to life. The women’s outfits and the men’s turbans bring colour to this intriguing city.

DAY 05                   JAIPUR

After breakfast in the hotel, you will be transported to the historic capital of Amber, where you will visit the magnificent Amber Fort.

In the 17th century, Maharaja Mansingh, the most accomplished general of Mughal Emperor Akbar, began construction on Amber Fort. Amber was the seat of authority before the City Palace was built in Jaipur. Once on top, take an elephant/Jeep ride to save yourself the hassle of climbing the citadel (Elephant rides are subject to availability). Once there, meander through the huge complex of courtyards and rooms. Many of the rooms feature beautiful wall paintings, as well as valuable stones and mirrors set into the walls. The Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors), where a single lamplight is mirrored in the many mirrors, lighting up the chamber, is possibly the most fascinating.

The City Palace, an astonishing complex of splendid buildings, gardens and courtyards, ornamental paintings and carved gateways, will be visited in the afternoon. Rare manuscripts, armory, costumes, carpets, and miniature paintings are all on display at the royal museum. Walk to the nearby Jantar Mantar or Astronomical Observatory, which was built by the Maharaja of Jaipur in 1726 and is one of Sawai Jai Singh’s five astronomical wonders that still makes accurate forecasts today. You’ll also view the ‘Palace of Winds,’ also known as the Hawa Mahal. It’s actually an ornate facade from which the ladies of the court used to observe the daily activities in the street below. Its pink sandstone carving is incredibly detailed. The cold breeze rushes through the windows and latticed screens that previously allowed the queens of the court to observe the city streets.

Get back to your hotel.

DAY 06                   JAIPUR – UDAIPUR

You will be transported to the airport after breakfast to board your journey to Udaipur.

Udaipur evolved in stark contrast to the harsh deserts of Rajasthan, situated on the banks of Lake Pichola and surrounded by hills. It was the sole Rajput bastion to maintain its Hindu allegiance in the face of Muslim invasion as the capital of the former Mewar State.

Peace, which began in the late 16th century, ushered in a period of revival in the arts and fostered the construction of spectacular palaces surrounding the lake, culminating in the City Palace, one of the world’s greatest palace complexes. The lake itself is a lovely setting, encircling the shining white Lake Palace and the Jag Mandir, a hideaway for Shah Jahan, the rebel Mughal prince who would later build the exquisite Taj Mahal. A TRIPAZZI employee will greet you at the Udaipur airport and transport you to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is yours to do as you like.

Staying the night at the hotel

DAY 07                  UDAIPUR

You will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur, widely known as the City of Sunrise, after breakfast in the hotel.

The City Palace, which overlooks Lake Pichola, will be your first stop on your sightseeing tour. The City Palace was constructed of granite and marble in 1725 and features filigreed balconies, elegant windows, and glass artistry. On the eastern side of the lake, the royal palace walls stretch for over a mile. A tangle of courtyards, rooms, and ornately adorned halls can be found within the castle. The chambers are embellished with paintings, royal procession displays, stone and glass mosaics, and ornate doors and painted windows. The marble throne in the coronation halls was last used during Maharana Sangram Singh II’s reign (1710-1730), and close is Maharaja Bhim Singh’s Sun Window (1778-1828). This is the divine emblem of the Mewar family, who descend from the Surya Vansha, the Sun’s ancestors. Each palace is a work of art in its own right. Visit the palace’s museums and public audiences hall, as well as the royal ladies’ private rooms and Sahelion-ki-Badi.

Later, you will have a common boat ride* on the calm waters of Lake Pichola (subject to sufficient water levels in the lake). Maharana Udai Singh expanded the lovely Lake Pichola after establishing the city. The city palace stretches along the lake’s east bank for quite some distance. The city of Udaipur, which stands majestically above the lake in the heart of the Rajasthan desert, will be seen from the boat. The Dhobi (laundry) ghats provide an amazing vista. The Jag Mandir Palace, a magnificent island palace in the midst of the lake, will also be visited.

In the event that a boat trip is not possible owing to low water levels, a visit to the Crystal Gallery will be provided.

Go back to your hotel.

The hotel is where you will spend the night.
